Well, here we are and it's fall already! I've hardly unpacked my luggage all year and we still have some traveling to do through October! In this transitional month I thought I'd share a few of my favorite pieces that you can add to your wardrobe or perhaps you already have and want to update. Some of which are trending this season and some are just plain practical. Here we go:

This fall has some tried and true trends you can add to your wardrobe to give it a little quick update.

1.Trending: Chunky Chain Jewelry + Pearls are still going strong! My Convertible Curb with Baroque Pearl Enhancer are a staple in my travel pouch all year long.  Layered or on it's own, it will elevate your outfit!

2. Travel: I received this Away Carry-On Flex for Christmas last year and was skeptical to say the least.  It's so small and although I only use overhead I had my Tumi soft sided that I loved for so long... Now, I'm a convert! Love this suitcase. It's light weight, can pack so much, and the expandable version is perfect when you want to bring home some goodies from your trip. Yes, I do have the Olive color.

3. Travel: With the Away bag I use the Lean Travel Compression Packing Cubes.  This truly helps. Trust me! I'll be sharing a blog on packing with these, but quick tip. Use one of the smaller cubes to pack a change of clothing in your tote. If you do check your bag and it gets misplaced, you have a backup plan.

4. Transitional & Trending: A Fabulous Comfortable Flat is a staple in my wardrobe; these are SO comfortable and perfect for transitional weather. Ballerina flats with a square toe are on trend and these have a contemporary, high end designer look. You'd never guess they're from 27 Edit by Naturalizer. My "go look at first" when I'm in the market for a new shoe. They have beautiful leathers, and metallics (also on trend) and many colors to choose from. Runs true to size. You won't be disappointed.

5. Trending: Everyone is wearing Animal Prints this season! Honestly, aren't we always? Versatile, this print is just darn fun and chic. Dress it up or down whether in an accessory or a piece of clothing you'll be happy you did!
