No heels required! It's trending for fall/winter 2023 but honestly, the ballet flat is a timeless style that you will have in your shoe wardrobe for years. Audrey Hepburn was famous for wearing ballet flats! Style with dresses, denim, wide leg, cropped or flared trousers.
Now, in my well-lived years I need to replace what I had with a style that has more support for my arches and perhaps a bit more "cush" that will allow me to be on my feet all day shopping for my clients. Even working at my studio creating jewelry I love to dress for the day, that includes a stylish pair of shoes! Here are some choices for an updated ballet flat with comfort built in. Xo
1. Square Toe + Bow Silver metallic, square toe(modern and great for a wider foot) with a bow in buttery leather! Not to mention it has a slight heel, arch support and padded insole. Day to a casual evening out these are lovely and feminine and they're by Clarks. Find them HERE
2. The Pointy Toe Love this pointy toe flat with leather chain detail are on trend! Camel is a fabulous neutral and a pointy toe will elongate your leg. Vionic made these with a rubber bottom(love), cushioned foot-bed, arch support and leather upper. A 1" heel makes this perfect for work, lunching or an evening out. Wear with dresses, denim or wide leg trousers. Find them HERE
3. The Soft Ballet Flat by Cole Haan with all the comfort built in. Classic, sleek and modern. Buttery leather will mold to your foot. Love the Bloodstone for a subtle pop of color. On sale now too. Find them HERE
4. Modern+ Metallic army green is a non-neutral, neutral. Make sense? Although Franco Sarto is not known as one of the "comfort " shoe brands, I've had many and they are a great shoe for all day wearing. The square toe is contemporary and padded foot bed are wonderful for all day wear. Find them HERE
Embrace this trend! I'd love to here your feedback!.
